As a student, I was afraid to call to get the MacBook, but after months of research of appropriate analysis, embracing the laptop (I am a student of networking, I am alive and well on my PC Repair + certification, so I apperceive matter or two PC and Windows), I absitively, I gave birth to a change in my life. I had an IBM ThinkPad T60 I last four years through schools, but then four re-installing XP, I had large assembly of viruses, spyware, etc. .. absitively and go with the MacBook.
Advantages:
Ideal for web browsing, e-mail confirmation and development.
It comes with a rich look to the appropriate box: iLife naively rocks, but it comes with Photobooth, GarageBand (which you can implement your own music or learn to play the instrument), Preview, and iMovie (which is substantially easier to adapt Windows Movie Maker)
Time Machine to incite and abstract images that are far better than using the backup feature of Windows.
Wi-Fiis so easy to apply to start-ups that Apple calls "Airport", just go to the wi-fi antenna on top of the right turn and start-up is needed there.
Press: Promoting a Windows world, and operates in a house with a wireless network, the atmosphere of a printer is a basic requirement in Windows, Mac, is very easy to start and enable printing.
Bluetooth: Bluetooth is now accepted in all laptops, and again as the atmosphere of a printer, it connects automatically with the optional Bluetooth.
Apple MagSafe MagSafe adapter alleged alien abstraction. If someone is that your power cord, would return the bond and not the computer. I can not hear how rich times my dogs really intent on my IBM power of the bond and returned to the computer together.
Battery life: Wow, what a difference. I pulled from my hours on the IBM array of activities, even though Apple says that the array can hold on a 10 hours in an individual account in the world ever, the avalancheless than 6 hours, but still is pretty incredible.
CONS:
2GB of RAM. Now, from a Windows world, Windows is a memory hogger, so the more RAM you have a Windows system, is ready to go, but with a Mac is different. Now if you compress 1080p video on a MacBook, the system begins to Hick-ups trying to catch-up. My advice? Upgrade to 4 GB or get the MacBook Pro
Expensive: Like all Apple products, it is quite expensive. I was rather reluctant to buy a MacBook, because it was rather expensive and be a student who is poor, I needed to save a good chunk of money to buy one of these machines.
So if you're in the market for a new laptop, just need to do some 'document creation and web browsing in the Mac is for you. If you want to do some 'high-end video compression, go with the MacBook Pro because the lines are producing high-end video. This is absolutely a perfect system if you just want web browsing and onlyCertificate creation.
